What is a refillery? 

A refillery provides a convenient weigh-and-pay shopping experience so you can stock and re-stock your everyday home and personal care items without the wasteful packaging you'll find in most other stores. Rather than purchasing a new container every time you need shampoo, hand soap, or detergent, you'll be able to continually refill your existing containers, which saves you money and prevents additional landfill waste.

How does it work?

Step 1: Choose a Product

Surf our selection of home and body products, from dish soap to shampoo. If you don't see what you need, let us know on our Contact page!

Step 2: Choose a Container

Many of our items come with either paper packaging or no packaging at all. But for liquids and powders (think laundry detergent, hand soap, etc.) you'll see two container options when selecting those products.

Forever Containers are beautiful glass bottles with a label and durable top or pump. They are meant to be kept and used, well, forever! Choose this option for your first order of any liquid or powder. Every Forever Container comes with the product you selected.

If you already have a bottle at home you'd like to reuse, or your Forever Container is almost empty, choose a Refill Container. These are plain glass jars that are used to refill your Forever Containers on your second+ order. Think of these like the milk jars your grandma used to have delivered. They keep cycling in and out, over and over. You'll pay a $1 deposit for each refill jar, but you'll get it back in Step 3!

Step 3: Rinse and Refill

Once you've received your order and refilled your Forever Containers, you'll clean your Refill Containers and set them outside for pickup on your next order and receive $1 back for each container you return.

We'll drop off your next order and pick up your empties at the same time, thus completing the beautiful loop.

If you pick up at The Olive Branch, you can drop off your empties there, too!

What are your delivery options?

We offer free Saturday deliveries within a 8 mile radius of Wilmore. Delivery within 15 miles is $3, and within 24 miles is $5. Just enter your address at checkout and we'll show you which option is available in your area. 

During COVID times, our delivery is contactless and we'll leave your order on your porch.

*For Saturday delivery, please place your order before 8pm the day before. Orders placed after 8pm on Friday will go out on Saturday of the next week.

Do you offer local pickup? 

Yes! This is a great option for students living in the dorms at Asbury University or those who live outside the free delivery zone. Free pickup is on Wednesdays at The Olive Branch in Wilmore (right next to Drinklings).

*Please place your order by 8pm the Tuesday before, and you'll be able to pick up your order between 10am-5pm on Wednesday. Orders placed after 8pm on Tuesday will be available on Wednesday of the next week.

Why don't you offer shipping? 

To put it simply, shipping is complicated! Many of our refill products are liquids. Shipping liquid in glass is expensive and creates a larger carbon footprint than we're comfortable with. Shipping liquid in plastic doesn't align with our mission. While we're 100% focused on serving our local community, we completely understand the desire to refill wherever you are! If you're not local to our area, I recommend doing a quick Google search to see if there's a refillery near you. Thankfully, there are tons of zero waste shops popping up all over the country!

Which products are available all the time at The Olive Branch? 

You can purchase many of our products at The Olive Branch—no online ordering required! They have shower steamers, toilet bombs, castile soap, stain sticks, laundry detergent, cleaning tablets, hand sanitizer, dish soap, dryer balls, lip balm, and lotion bars.

What do I do with my Refill Containers? 

Refill Containers are meant to be returned. Once you've refilled your Forever Container, please wash* your Refill Container (either by hand or in the dishwasher), and then place it on your porch for pickup on the day of your next delivery. We'll refund you $1 for every Refill Container you return.

*We can only accept clean and dry Refill Containers. If they are not clean and dry, we will have to leave them on your porch and pick them up next time.

How are you ensuring Refill Containers are clean, especially during COVID times?

First, we only accept returned containers that are both clean and dry. Once we've picked them up, all containers sit untouched in isolation for at least 2 days. They are then thoroughly washed at high temperatures and dried completely before re-entering the refill cycle. 

If you prefer, you may also take your own containers to The Olive Branch for refilling.
